Autumn 2021 won its AMOC class concours with 97 points out of 100
Subsequently awarded the 2022 John Wyer Trophy for “The best kept post war Aston Martin of the year” by the Aston Martin Owners Club Worldwide.
I have owned this car since 2017. I am the 3rd owner. I bought it for the sole purpose of taking it to the highest standard I was able. Having been to many AMOC Concours since 2005 with 2 other cars, a DB7 Vantage Volante and a Vanquish SDP, I have learnt over 17 years, how to take a car way beyond Concours level going to places the judges cannot reach. It is a passion. Hundreds of hours have been spent on the smallest of detail to get it to where it is today and earlier last year this dedication to the Brand and the car was recognised by the AMOC by being awarded the John Wyer Trophy.

BODY/ PAINTWORK
1. All paintwork machine polished using Nanotech 2 in 1 polish and protected with Nanotech Quartz Guard Extreme.
2. All rubber cleaned then treated with Swissvax Rubber Seal Feed
3. All plastic cleaned then treated with Autoglym.
4. All windows treated with RainX.
5. Chrome cleaned and polished with Autosol chrome and metal polish.
6. Wheels refurbished and protected with Nanotech Quartz Guard Pro-9H high grade Ceramic coating.
7. While Grill removed for respray bumper off and total clean and protection with Nanotech Quartz Guard Extreme before re-assembly.
8. Wheel nuts polished with Autosol chrome and metal polish.
9. Door hinges and area cleaned and protected with Nanotech Speed Guard, rubber with Swissvax Rubber Seal Feed.
10. Boot and bonnet channels cleaned and protected with Nanotech Quartz Guard Extreme.
11. Tyres treated with E-Pert 60 Tyre Cream.
12. Every wash finished with Nanotech Speed Guard.
13. Grill removed and resprayed and protected with Nanotech Quartz Guard Extreme
14. All surfaces cleaned with Nanotech Pre-Clean prior to the application of Nanotech Protective Coating.

1. All black alloy wheel-arch and underbody screws, bolts and washers replaced with special black stainless steel.
2. All heavy-duty plastic wheel arches removed, cleaned, and protected with Autoglym.
3. Inside wheel-arches all parts, plastic, rubber, alloy metal cleaned and protected as above to look like new. (Swissvax rubber Seal Feed, Autoglym, Nanotech)
4. Major Front Sub Frame removed, soda blasted, and powder coated and protected with Nanotech Quartz Guard Pro-9H Ceramic Coating.
5. All major alloy parts removed, soda blasted and protected with
Nanotech Quartz Guard Pro-9H high grade Ceramic coating.
6. 2 middle side panels polished.
7. Middle structural panel removed and polished. All bolts cleaned back to original colour.
8. Rear alloy parts treated to remove oxidation to take back to original alloy colour.

MY COMMENTS
I have been using NanoTech SST products for over 10 years now. My Astons have a glow that stands out and regularly gets comments there is more depth to the colour and more gloss than other cars. I use the 2 in 1 polish, the Pre-Clean to completely clean the paint before using the Quartz Guard Extreme when I do the paintwork for the first time. Once done every wash I finish with Speed Guard. The range is so advanced now that a car can be cleaned, pre-cleaned and treated in less than 2 hours to make it stand out, then after every future wash just about 10 minutes with the Speed Guard. I also use the ceramic coating on the wheels and underbody and engine work. You don’t win concours unless your car stands out and looks cleaner than other cars.
