Oxidation is a common issue with boat gelcoat, especially for vessels that spend a significant amount of time in the water or exposed to the elements. Gelcoat is a protective layer on the surface of fiberglass boats, and over time, exposure to sunlight, water, and other environmental factors can lead to oxidation. This process results in a chalky, faded appearance, compromising the aesthetic appeal and potentially the structural integrity of the gelcoat.
Super Gloss Polish has been developed as a high gloss finishing polish for dark coloured gel-coat or paint and is ideal for removing minor scratches and holograms leaving a high gloss finish. You can use this fine finishing polish to achieve maximum gloss on dark coloured gel-coat or paint. Due to its fine cut Super Gloss will not restore dull gel-coat or paint and should be used as a final finishing polish after the oxidation has been removed, or on gel-coat or paint that is in good condition.
This high coverage water based boat polish can be used by hand, but for best results and incredible finishes, use a rotary polishing machine fitted with a soft foam pad.
Fast and easy to use with hardly any residue to clean up, just wipe the surface after polishing with a microfiber cloth to reveal a smear free high gloss finish.
